Getting started
From a new account to your first entry in a couple of minutes.
Set up
- Make your account. Open the app, keep Create account selected, and enter your first name, email and a password. Already have an account? Tap Sign in instead.
- Welcome. A quick look at how it works. Tap Continue.
- A quick agreement. Read the four short points, tick both boxes (one for the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, one agreeing that the app can process the health information you choose to log), and tap Agree and continue.
- What would you like to track? Mood is always on. Tap anything else you want to start with, like Sleep quality, Water or Headache, then tap Start with Mood + 2 more (the number matches what you picked). Tap Not now to start with just Mood. You can add more any time.
Signing in on a new phone skips the welcome and agreement, and everything you’ve logged is there.
Take the tour
The Log tab shows a card, New here? Take the short tour. Tap Show me for a one-minute walk through talking, typing, chat, Discover, measures and settings. You can open it again any time from Settings › Help › How to use Dayweave.
The four tabs
- Log
- Today’s entries, grouped by category. The mic and the Log or chat… box sit at the bottom. See Talking to log.
- Discover
- Insights, charts and what goes with each measure. See Discover and patterns.
- Measures
- Everything you track, in categories. See Measures.
- Settings
- Reminders, connections, your data and more. See Settings.
Log your first day
Tap the mic and say a few things about your day, the way you’d tell a friend:
“slept about 7 hours, mood a 6, two coffees and a bit of a headache, maybe a 3”
Tap Done. You’ll see exactly what was logged, with Undo if anything’s off. That’s it.
A few things worth knowing
- Entries belong to a day, not a time. The app never asks what time something happened.
- Your day starts at 4:00 AM, so a snack at 12:30 at night counts toward the day before. You can change this in Settings › Logging › Day starts at.
- You can add or change entries for today and the 7 days before it. Older days stay in your history but can’t be edited.
- Insights take about two weeks. Keep logging most days and Discover starts showing what goes together.
